Classes

 

In order to provide the most efficient and fair service for you and your dancer, we require a $20 deposit per dance class at the time of registration. This deposit is non-refundable, even in situations where you need to switch classes or drop the class before it begins. This deposit ensures that your child’s spot is secure in that class and therefore makes one less spot for another student.

 

Class tuition is automatically pulled from your account of the 1st of each month.

 

If you are using our automated system, there is a 3% convience fee. You may opt to pay by cash or check. If you choose do this, all cash or check payments must be dropped off in the black box in our lobby by the 5th of each month to avoid a late fee.

 

If you wish to drop a class, you must notify Start A Movement via email (startamovementdance@gmail.com) prior to the 1st of the next month. Once tuition is pulled, it is non-refundable.

 

A dancer is permitted to make up up to 3 missed classes per dance season (Sept-June). Please notify us via email if your child will be missing class. 

 

Injury Policy

 

If your child is unable to dance because of an injury, we still urge them to come to class and watch. This is especially helpful when we get closer to our Recital shows so that your dancer is not missing anything.

 

The only way we are able to stop tuition payments is if your child needs to drop the class and therefore will not be participating in Recital. 

 

Camps

 

When you enroll your child in a camp, you will pay a non-refundable $100 deposit. This deposit will come off of your total tuition for the week of camp on June 1st for Summer camps.

 

On June 1st, the remainder of your camp tuition will be pulled and is non-refundable. 

 

Birthday Parties

 

Please contact us via email to schedule your child’s birthday party. Once scheduled, you will be charged a non-refundable $50 deposit. 

 

After your party is complete, you will be charged the remainder of our birthday party fee ($300 for up to 15 students)
